Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide comprehensive trauma care in a Trauma Center
- Perform low/moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, IV access/insertion, and fracture/dislocation reductions
- Execute high-risk procedures including G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, and central/arterial line placement
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure high-quality patient care and safety
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Cerner Care B system
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in any necessary staff meetings or training sessions
Additional Information:
- Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in California
- Experience in trauma surgery and emergency care preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner Care B system is advantageous
