About The PositionWe are seeking a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a dedicated medical team, providing top-notch dermatological care. The Nurse Practitioner will work alongside two medical assistants, playing a crucial role in patient assessments, treatment planning, and occasionally performing biopsies.
Job Details- Location: New York
- Start Date: Jul 2, 2025
- LOA: 240 days
- Provider Type Needed: Dermatology Nurse Practitioner
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Responsibilities and Duties- Engage directly with patients to assess their dermatological condition
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Perform skin biopsies as part of patient care when necessary
- Collaborate with medical assistants who assist with rooming patients and initial medical history reviews
Additional Information- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in New York
- Experience in medical and surgical Dermatology is required
- Proficiency with the Modernizing Medicine EMR system is essential
