Rhino Medical is actively seeking Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants (PA-C) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) for a locum tenens opportunity in Sanford, NC. Opportunity Details:

- Contract Type: Emergency Medicine APP Locum Tenens
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift Schedule:
- Physician Coverage: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- APP Coverage: 24 hours per day
- Minimum Commitment: 490 hours per month available
- Temp Privileges Available for Eligible Providers
- Practice Setting: Physician-Supported Emergency Department
- Facility Details:
- Annual Patient Volume: 27,821 ( 76 patients per day)
- ED Bed Count: 20
- Trauma Designation: None
- EMR System: Cerner
Patient Load & Flow:
- Patients Per Hour: 2 per hour
Provider Requirements:
- Certification: Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) through NCCPA, ANCC, or AANP
- Licensure: Active & Unrestricted North Carolina State License & DEA
- Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS
- Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Standard Emergency Medicine APP duties
- Work alongside a physician-led emergency team
- Respond to codes & urgent patient needs
- Admitting Orders: Bridge orders only; 24-hour in-house hospitalist support
