A level I trauma is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Missouri.
A Cardiac APP is needed to support the ICU and stepdown unit for the Cardiac Surgery team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in managing ECMO, Impella, IABP, and pacemakers. Required procedures include arterial and central line placement, PA catheter insertion with hemodynamic interpretation, occasional chest tube placement, and the removal of pacing wires, chest tubes, and drains, along with surgical incision care. The role involves working with a high-acuity patient population in a 356-bed facility using EPIC EMR.
