About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 12-day locum tenens assignment at multiple locations in Minnesota, starting 05/12/2025. This diverse opportunity requires coverage at schools and a clinic in MN, with varying schedules. The ideal candidate will provide outpatient primary care services for employees, spouses, and dependents, including non-acute walk-ins, history/physicals, women's health, and medication dispensing. This position offers the chance to work in a multi-specialty clinic setting using eClinicalWorks and Athena Health EMR systems, with a possibility for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide outpatient primary care services for employees, spouses, and dependents

• Conduct non-acute walk-in visits and scheduled same-day appointments

• Perform history and physical examinations

• Offer women's health services

• Dispense medications onsite (non-CSII medications)

• Utilize eClinicalWorks and Athena Health EMR systems for documentation

• Adhere to all clinic and school policies and procedures

• Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain professional standards

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Adapt to different work environments (schools and clinic settings)

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota

• Family Practice certification required

• Experience in primary care and school-based health settings preferred

• Comfort with 30-minute to 1-hour long appointments

• Strong assessment and documentation skills essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Flexibility to work at multiple locations with varying schedules

• Willingness to dispense medications and use barcode scanning systems
