About The Position
Opportunity Details

Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist their team with short-term locum Hospitalist coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 2p-10p, specific dates
• No call required
• Daily Census: 17-21 total inpatients, 8-10 patients per APP, 9-13 admissions
• Duties: Admissions, consults, co-management of ED holds and admitted patients
• Team Structure: 2 hospitalist physicians, 4 APPs
• Comprehensive Support Staff: General surgery, emergency medicine, OB/GYN, cardiology, orthopedics, ENT, primary care, and oncology
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
