About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position at a mental health facility in Alabama. This 48-day assignment begins on 04/28/2025, with a potential for extension. The schedule alternates between 3 and 4 days per week, with 12-hour shifts (7 AM to 7 PM) in the crisis center. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing a wide range of mental health cases, including anxiety, major depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. This opportunity involves working in a crisis center, conducting evaluations, providing medication management, and transitioning patients to outpatient care using Avatar software.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
