Job title: Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist
Contract: 24-months fixed-term, with CESR support
Location: Bristol, South West England
Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 a year pro rata per annum

Additional information:

We're looking for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a growing Gastroenterology service in South West England. This department consists of 8 Consultant Gastroenterologists and 1 Consultant Hepatologist working across two sites.

The post is a 10 PA appointment, with the post-holder expected to:


• Be responsible and work independently for the continuing care of patients alongside consultant staff.

• Participate in the Gastroenterology on call rota.

• Work independently caring for patients with Gastrointestinal complaints, caring out a mixture of emergency and elective care

• CESR support can be offered to applicants wanting to pursue this pathway to GMC-specialist registration.

Requirements to Apply:


• Applicants must have GMC registration or be eligible to join the register within 6-months.

• Applicants for the substantive position must have GMC specialist registration or be eligible to join the specialist register within 6-months.

• MRCP or equivalent
