About The Position

Woonsocket, RI CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a new locum tenens opportunity in Woonsocket, RI. This position offers ongoing coverage, flexible scheduling, and the chance to work in a supervised care team model.

Opportunity Details:

• Location: Woonsocket, RI
• Contract Type: CRNA Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
• Shift Schedule:
  • 7 AM - 3 PM (Day Shift)
  • Call Hours: 3 PM - 7 AM
  • Rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off
• Call Requirement:
  • First-call CRNAs take every 3rd weeknight and every 4th weekend
  • Response Time: 30 minutes
• Practice Setting: Supervised model (3 CRNAs & 1 MD)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days (Temps available for clean files)
• Vaccination Requirement: COVID-19 vaccination required (Medical & Religious Exemptions Accepted)

Case Types:

• Annual Volume: 3,000 cases/year
• Specialties Covered:
  • General Surgery
  • Endoscopy
  • OB ( 450 deliveries annually)
  • Orthopedics (some spines)
  • Urology
  • Gynecology
  • Podiatry
  • Cardiac ( 380 cases per year including Cath Lab & TEE)
• Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Spinals, Blocks, & Epidurals
  • Case Logs Required (proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocks)

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: NBCRNA
• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted RI State License & DEA
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• EMR System: Pending Confirmation
