We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Kentucky. This 20-day assignment at a Hospital requires coverage for 7a-3p shifts during specific weeks in June and July, starting from 06/16/2025. The CRNA will provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, plastics, hand surgery, ophthalmology, dental procedures, urology, bariatrics, and endoscopies. This opportunity offers flexibility in scheduling with either 4 10-hour days or 5 8-hour days, based on provider preference. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with routine surgical cases and must have a clean background.

Schedule: 7a-3p, weeks of 6/16, 6/30, 7/14, 7/28 (4 10-hour days or 5 8-hour days)


Job Responsibilities and Duties:


• Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures


• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop appropriate anesthetic plans


• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical cases


• Manage post-operative pain and recovery


• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Meditech EHR system


• Adapt to different surgical specialties including orthopedics, plastics, hand surgery, ophthalmology, dental, urology, bariatrics, and endoscopies


• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures


• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed


• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members


Additional Information:


• Must be licensed in Kentucky


• Experience with Meditech EHR system preferred


• Comfortable with routine surgical cases


• Clean background check required


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills essential


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
