Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) with strong OB/GYN and regional anesthesia skills for a locum tenens opportunity in Lakeland, Florida. This assignment is ideal for providers confident practicing independently in a medically supervised model and ready to manage epidurals and spinals in a busy obstetric setting.

With 3,200 annual deliveries and 800 GYN surgeries, this is a clinically engaging role for CRNAs who excel in high-volume, high-acuity environments.

Assignment Overview

• Location: Lakeland, FL

• Contract Type: Locum Tenens - CRNA

• Setting: OB & GYN - Hospital-based

• Model: Medically Supervised

• Start Date: ASAP - Summer coverage required

• Credentialing: Streamlined for summer availability

Schedule Options

• Shifts Available:

  • 10-Hour: Tuesday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

  • 12-Hour: Validating 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

  • 24-Hour: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM

    • One physician & one CRNA onsite daily

    • Paid hourly - no daily flat rate

Candidate Requirements

• License: Active Florida CRNA license

• Certifications: NBCRNA, BLS, ACLS

• Skills Required:

  • Independent placement of epidurals and spinals

  • Strong regional anesthesia proficiency

• Experience: OB and GYN anesthesia required

• Availability: Must be available for summer coverage

Volume & Case Mix

• Annual Deliveries: 3,200

• GYN Surgeries/Year: 800
