Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

LocumJobsOnline is working with OneStaff Locums to find a qualified Anesthesiology CRNA in Iowa City, Iowa, 52243 Pay Information $215 to $260 per hour About The Position Facility just north of Iowa City IA is seeking a couple FTE to start as soon as credentialed.
• Cerner & paper charting
• Level II
• All ages, but very sick pediatrics are usually shipped to another facility as their hospital is not equipped to handle these patients.
• Is this independent CRNA practice? If not - can the CRNAs do regional? "It is a mix of physicians and CRNAs. Once the physicians are satisfied with the performance of the CRNA, the CRNA works fairly independently with the physician there as a resource. If the candidate is not a team player we are not interested. The group's reputation and professional liability are on the line and we don't have the luxury of indulging Lone Ranger types."
• What is the case mix? "The hospital is a Level 2-Level 3 Trauma Center. Really sick patients are stabilized then referred out. We do hearts, spines, general surgery, occasional head, OB, etc. CRNAs must be comfortable with epidurals." Schedule
• OR M-Th 10 hour days, Fri: 5p - Sat 6:30am, Sat: Off, Sun: 6:30am-6:30am, Mon: Off, Tues - Fri - 10 hour days
• Otherwise: Sat 6:30a - 6:30a Or Fri 5p - 6:30 am/Sun 6:30 - 6:30
• Schedule for new Locum CRNA's: Mon-Fri,7a - 3:30p (8 hour shifts only. Not accepting providers only interested in 10 hour shifts). EXPPLAT Job Requirements
• NBCRNA - REQUIRED
• BLS & ACLS - REQUIRED
• Active IA License or Active Compact License - REQUIRED
• Must be available full time - REQUIRED (can accept providers available 1-2 weeks per month)
• Provider is available for full week of M-F
• Clean record/license - REQUIRED
