Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Indiana licensed CRNAs available for full-time locum tenens coverage in Angola, IN beginning as soon as possible.

Opportunity Specifics:

• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens

• Hours: (7:00am - 3:00pm) Call Hours: (5:00pm - 7:00am)
• Weekends: Yes
• On Call: call divided evenly amongst 3 providers

About the Facility:

• CRNAs work independently - little to no supervision
• Number of ORs: 3
• Day Shift Providers: 3
• Cases: Cardiac, Ortho, Endo, Podiatry, ENT, and OB
• EMR: Epic

Job Description:

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
• Experience/proficiency in: Epidurals, Spinals & Blocks

Candidate Requirements:

• Active Indiana State License
• Graduate of an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Clear personal & professional background
