Company is a leading provider of commercial and residential roofing, siding, windows, decking, specialty lumber, waterproofing, ad air barrier systems to the North American building industry. Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A or CDL B Knuckle Boom Driver to work in our Long Island City, NY facility.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay $38.38/ hour.
- Overtime paid after 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.
- Typical work week is 45-50 hours per week, can be more during busy seasons.
- Bi-Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- The schedule is from 6:30AM - 4:30PM, or until work is completed
- Home every day, no overnights
- Make local 5-6 stops per day, typically within Manhattan, NY to commercial and residential job sites.
- Some loose box hand delivery of products/accessories
- Must be flexible with work schedule. Routing can change frequently throughout day.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering and unloading building supplies to commercial and residential job sites.
- Drive CDL Knuckle Boom or Flatbed to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
- Required to load and unload freight.
- Strapping the freight.
- Use of Boom Crane.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on trucks and/or equipment.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must hold a valid CDL A or B license with a minimum of 1 year of recent verifiable driving experience.
- Flatbed experience delivering building supplies a plus but will train.
- HMO certification through NCCCO is required at time of hire. Candidates must have obtained the certification or enrolled in the class before November 2024.
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
- Boom Crane experience preferred.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Be able to lift, push, pull 75 to 100 pounds with no assistance.
