Smash Park is seeking an experienced and dynamic Local Marketing Manager to join our team. Our brand is focused on creating a fun, energetic atmosphere that brings people together through pickleball, ax throwing, duckpin bowling, darts, karaoke, trivia nights, bingo, arcade, live entertainment and a variety of private and public events. Do you have an eye for visual storytelling? As a Local Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of marketing onsite events and being the bridge between corporate and our onsite operations to ensure brand consistency. You will produce social stories, social posts, photographs and instant messaging as needed regarding public events. For public events, you'll effortlessly blend into the background, ensuring smooth execution and heightened social media awareness without breaking a sweat. Responsibilities:
- Brand ambassador of Smash Park. You are the face of Smash Park in venue and out.
- Social media savvy to ensure that our onsite and in real time presence is consistent, enticing, and reflects our unique personality.
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to approve posts, boost strategically and stay on top of audience engagement.
- Passion for producing quality images and short videos.
- Execute marketing and public events strategies to meet or exceed sales goals
- Identify new business opportunities to prospect and build relationships with potential clients on the local level.
- Including but not limited to influencer outreach, local businesses, schools and community partnerships
- Manage the coordination of public events and report on our event/campaign performance
- Develop ideas for promotions, and events to drive revenue
- Clear, detailed and consistent communication with the operations and leadership team
- Work collaboratively with the sales and operations teams to ensure a seamless experience for the guests
- Recruit, book and evaluate entertainment contractors such as: event hosts, DJs and bands.
- Responsible for invoicing of such talent.
- Collaborate with ops and home office marketing team to determine and execute monthly loyalty rewards.
- Manage, lead and mentor Marketing and Events Intern. Delegating workload and priorities on weekly basis.
- Graphic design for digital and print branded assets
- Manage and control local marketing budget
- Increase brand awareness, repeat customers and sales through field marketing outreach
- Local community engagement (hotels, apartments, festivals etc.)
- Conventions / trade shows / vendor fairs when appropriate and in joint effort with the Sales team
Requirements:
- Marketing and Photography Enthusiast: You're a lover of both worlds. Portfolio showcasing your creative vision is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in coordinating public events, creative marketing and field marketing
- Minimum of (2) years of experience in marketing, experiential marketing, or photography is preferred. Experience in public events is a plus but not required. Relevant school or academic experience for professional work experience is accepted.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in salesforce is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Canva preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
