This is year long contract. Job Title: Surgical Tech Location: Sitka, AK Duration: 52 Weeks Shift/Schedule: Days Guaranteed Hours: 40 Job Description: Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of a technologist training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or any accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education and Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) preferred; if not certified, certification must be obtained within six months of hire or in certain instances, "on the job training" specific experience greater than five years may substitute for certification.
• Current BLS certification or within three months of hire and bi-annually thereafter Experience Required
• Experience in hospital operation room Skills in
• Sterile technique and processing
• Patient positioning Certifications Required
• BLS - AHA
• Surgical technician certificate - National Board of surgical technology and surgical assisting Benefits:
