WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Queens, NY. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on community health by providing nutrition counseling and support to diverse patient populations.
Job Function:- Plan and oversee menus with food services to meet clients' diverse nutritional needs.
- Assess clients' nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to support healthy eating habits.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners on appropriate nutritional interventions.
- Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and coordinate nutritional services.
- Stay updated on nutrition trends and attend mandatory training sessions.
Job Requirements:- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) and Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN).
- Valid New York State License.
- CPR/BLS Certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
