Full Time Physician Assistant
A well-established internal medicine practice on the southern Oregon Coast is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. We focus on comprehensive, holistic, and anti-aging medicine, offering 30-minute to 1-hour patient visits to ensure high-quality, personalized care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage chronic conditions and acute illnesses, prescribing appropriate medications and treatments.
- Perform minor medical procedures, including wound care, suturing, and injections.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
- Stay updated with medical advancements through ongoing education and training.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Strong clinical skills, interpersonal communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Schedule & Work Conditions:
- Full-time, Contract position.
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts - No weekends or evening shifts required.
- Flexible schedule in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year.
