Job Summary
An Orthopedic Physician Assistant in New York assists orthopedic surgeons in treating musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess Patients: Conduct assessments and physical exams.
- Order Tests: Request and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Assist in Surgery: Help during orthopedic surgeries.
- Develop Plans: Create and implement treatment plans.
- Provide Care: Offer pre- and post-operative care.
Requirements
- Education: Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
- Certification: NCCPA certified.
- Licensure: New York State license.
- Experience: At least 1 year in orthopedics.
