Occupational Therapist School Year 25-26
We are partnering with a Chicago school program to find outstanding Occupational Therapists for the school year. Virtual school is an option (at school admin building).
Responsibilities:
Occupational Therapist will be assigned a caseload upon mutual consider that best suits their skills and interests and the needs of the school district.
OT will provide direct and consultative services to students including screening, assessing, treating, and reporting as appropriate.
Openings could include early learning programs though transitional classrooms with students of varying diagnoses.
Plan and present at IEP/Student conferences in consultation with staff.
Monday-Friday as per school schedule. Full time (limited part time opportunities available).
Multiple school sites including some consult only.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Hold IDFPR license as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience working collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
1-2 years' experience a plus. Will consider a new grad with appropriate clinical experience.
Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.
Work Hours:
Follow school hours Monday-Friday; depending on the building's hours. 6.25 paid hours per day. Start $42/hour.
per week.
Salary and Benefits:
$41/hr for new grad, other salary based upon experience. Weekly pay.
