Full Time Contract
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments to determine their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges in the adult hospital and acute rehabilitation unit (IRF) based patient.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for achieving optimal functional outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans
Responsible to float between Samaritan Medical Center and Samaritan Keep Home
Requirements:
BLS
Licensed as OT in state of NY
1 year of previous experience strongly preferred
