WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a renowned hospital in Pennington, NJ.
Job Function:
- Night Shift.
- 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am.
Categorize patients into appropriate classification levels based on clinical assessments.
Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity.
Implement interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status during labor.
Identify emergency situations and promptly notify the provider, considering the patient's age and condition.
Administer medications following safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and provider orders.
Job Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a BSN.
Current RN license for the state of New Jersey.
2 years of acute care experience in the specialty.
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
C-EFM certification required. Fetal Monitoring Certificate preferred.
