On Call, Call Back Requirements :
• Scheduling:
• Variable start times for Day shift (Anywhere between 5:30am-7am)
• Weekend rotation: N/A
• Can we approve time off? Check with hiring supervisor
• On Call
• 30 min response time
• General / Neuro / Ortho (8 Week call schedule) AMs - EOS Call: 8-10 slots (EOS: End of Shift) - : 1-2 slots - 1-2 Weekends

- Patient Types:
- Neuro/ENT, Orthopedic, General: Breasts/Plastics, Vascular, Laparoscopic, General Oncology, Genitourinary (GU), Gynecology (GYN), Robots (Do not train Agency unless a strong background and here for more than 1 contract)
- Patient Ratios:
- 1:1
- Required Certifications:
- RN: BLS
- Neuro/ENT: Medtronic Navigation (Cranial & Spine); Medtronic Stealth (ENT); Stryker & Synaptive Navigation (Cranial)
- ENT: Neck dissections with flaps, Sinus Surgery (Stealth Navigation), Basic (Tonsil), Tympanoplasty, Cochlear (not a deal breaker)
- Neuro: Spine Surgeries (Laminectomies, ALIFs, Fusions and disectomies), Craniotomies (Tumors, AVMs/Aneurysms, VP shunts, subdural EVD)
- Support on the Unit:
- Charge Nurse, Leads, Supervisors
- Charting System/Equipment:
- EPIC
- Alaris
- Pyxis
- Floating:
- Cross trained to all Main OR specialties and Urology center but no floating to other hospitals.
- Orientation:
- 1-1 weeks depending on Team and shift: (Subject to change based on unit needs)
- Other notes or things you want us to check/verify?
- Scrub Color: Surgical scrubs provided by hospital; Scrub caps allowed but needs to be covered by a surgical bouffant
- Parking: Free Parking; Days-Detached lot, 2 blocks away; PMs-Lot attached to hospital
