Local Position. Shift: 645p-715a, every other weekend Required 2 years of acute care RN experience KY or Compact License Certifications:BLS, ACLS, NIH Required Skills:
• IV insertion
• Blood draws
• PICC/Central Line management:
• Dialysis Fistula:
• CPAP/BiPAP
• Trach Care
• Periotoneal dialysis
• Epidural/PCA pump
• Feeding tubes
• Continuous bladder irrigation
• Wound vac
• Type of unit: Unit Name/Type of unit: Neurology and Oncology PCU Selling points for the unit: Great teamwork, beds/procedures: 48 beds Patient ratio: 1:4 is standard, sometimes 1:5 or 1:6(rarely) Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? Yes Top diagnosis/procedures: Strokes, Seizures, AMS, Common equipment used: IV pumps, lumbar drains, Hoyer lift Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? yes EPIC Charting Scrub color: Galaxy Blue
