• IV insertion
• PICC/Central Line management:
• Dialysis Fistula- assessment purposes only
• CPAP/BiPAP- managed by RT
• Trach Care
• PCA pump
• Feeding tubes
• Continuous bladder irrigation
• Wound vacSelling points for the unit: CRN on each shift that do not take patients, discharge nurse on dayshift Monday-Friday, clinical pharmacists staffed on the unit Monday-Friday, staffing coordinator dedicated to our department, beds/procedures: 24 beds Patient ratio: 6:1
