WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a community health center in Charlestown, RI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care or urgent care nursing. This is an excellent opportunity with one of the leading employers in the region - a long-term contract assignment with the potential to convert to a permanent role.
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- 8:30am-4:30pm.
Interview patients and maintain accurate medical records, including nursing observations, health history, past and present medication use, and vital signs.
Perform vision and hearing tests, administer medications and treatments, and document all care provided.
Conduct in-house lab tests, collect specimens for outside labs, and perform quality control according to organizational protocols.
Provide health education as directed by the physician, based on patient diagnosis or in response to patient inquiries.
Job Requirements:
2 years of related work experience required.
2 - 4 years of related work experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Vocational/Technical School or Diploma Program in Nursing preferred.
Valid Rhode Island State RN license required.
