RN - Surgical StepdownShift: 12-Hour Nights Shift 36 hrs/week Night ShiftSchedule: Every Other Weekend & HolidayUnit Details:38-bed Stepdown UnitPatient population includes post-op patients transferred from PACU or SICUSpecialties: Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplantNurse-to-patient ratio:Intermediate Care: 1:3MedSurg: 1:4 to 1:5 Required Experience:Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care experienceMUST have surgical stepdown experience at a Level 1 Trauma CenterPrior IMCU/Stepdown experienceMust have completed at least 1 previous travel assignmentProficient with automated medication dispensing systemsMust independently read & interpret telemetry rhythm stripsTesting: Telemetry & Critical Care Meds test on Day 1 Preferred:Experience in a tertiary care facility Certifications Required:BLS (Basic Life Support)ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)Active Massachusetts RN license (MA RN)
