ARMStaffing is looking for Telemetry Registered Nurses (TELE RN).

The Telemetry Registered Nurse (TELE RN) provides direct patient care, monitors patients using telemetry equipment, and interprets EKG data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Directly providing care, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring, and developing individualized care plans.
• Telemetry Monitoring: Experience using and interpreting telemetry equipment, recognizing abnormal rhythms, and responding to cardiac emergencies.
• ECG/EKG Interpretation: Ability to interpret EKG waveforms and identify different cardiac rhythms.
• Medication Administration: Knowledge of administering cardiac medications and monitoring for side effects.
• Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze patient data, identify problems, and develop solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address complex patient care issues and adapt to changing priorities.
• Documentation: Accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and interventions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensure/Certification: Must hold a current and valid Pennsylvania RN License or Compact RN License to work in Pennsylvania.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of recent experience working on a Telemetry unit.
• Stress Management: Demonstrated ability to handle stress and maintain composure in a critical care setting.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle unexpected events.
  
  

Work Environment:

• Telemetry Unit: Fast-paced environment with a variety of patient demographics. Collaborative setting where nurses work closely with physicians, residents, interns, and a multidisciplinary team, fostering a learning environment.
• Teamwork: Working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating clearly with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Physical Demands: May need to stand for long periods. Lift and move patients, which can be physically demanding.
