WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Lawrence, MA.
Job Function:
- Night Shift.
- 3x12: 7pm - 7am.
Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessments and high-intensity interventions.
Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families during the emergency room experience.
Communicate closely with all members of the healthcare team and independently recognize the need for early intervention.
Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.
Perform medical procedures including IV insertion, intubation, medication administration, and blood draws.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
2 years of experience as an Emergency Room RN required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association required.
