WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Glens Falls, NY.
Job Function:
- Night Shift.
- 3x12: 6:45pm - 7:15am.
Manage care for adult and/or pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessments and high-intensity interventions.
Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience.
Communicate closely with the healthcare team and recognize the need for early intervention.
Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic procedures.
Perform IV insertions, administer medications, draw blood, and assist with various emergency medical procedures.
Job Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current RN license in the state of New York.
2 years of Emergency Room RN experience is required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
EPIC experience is required.
