NP Nursery, NICU and Pediatrics- The Nurse Practitioner performs physical examinations and patient visits, orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, makes appropriate referrals to either a physician or specialist as needed, collaborates with physicians and staff as necessary to provide consistent care to patients, ensures quality assurance standards are met, and displays a caring and professional attitude at all times. The Nurse Practitioner will also operate as the Pediatric Emergency Nursing Coordinator and have the authority and oversight responsibilities in ensuring high-quality, comprehensive emergency medical services for children within the Emergency Department. Work Experience -Five years' experience in pediatric experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred. Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner Program Current TX State Nurse Practitioner license.
