Nurse Practitioner - Internal Medicine & Geriatrics
A well-established internal medicine practice on the beautiful southern Oregon Coast is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. We focus on comprehensive, holistic, and anti-aging medicine, providing 30-minute to 1-hour patient visits to ensure high-quality, personalized care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Diagnose and manage chronic conditions as well as acute illnesses, prescribing appropriate medications and treatments.
- Perform various medical procedures, such as wound care, suturing, and injections.
- Educate patients and families on preventive healthcare, disease management, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health systems (EHR).
- Participate in continuous education to stay updated with medical advancements and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current state licensure and board eligibility as a Nurse Practitioner.
- DEA permit for prescribing medications.
- Strong clinical skills, interpersonal communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Ideal for junior advanced practice providers looking to refine their expertise.
Schedule & Work Conditions:
- Full-time, Contract position.
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts - No weekends or evening shifts required.
- Flexible schedule, allowing for work-life balance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year.
