Position Overview

Amergis Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide Locum PTO Coverage in Bend, Oregon. This role involves floating between two nearby sites.

Schedule

• Preferred Days: Tuesday-Friday (flexible to cover PTO)
• Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (10-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch)

• Optional Saturdays: 1st and 3rd Saturdays, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM (alternating)

  Responsibilities

  • Provide primary and acute care to patients aged 2 and older
  • Manage chronic diseases and occupational health cases
  • Conduct DOT physicals and worker's comp evaluations
  • Float to Juvenile Detention Center for basic medical care and physicals
  • Perform or be willing to learn venipuncture and CLIA-waived lab testing

  Requirements

  • Certifications: Board Certified (NP/PA), BLS, DEA, DOT Certified
  • Licensure: Active Oregon state license
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in family practice and chronic disease management
  • EMR: Epic
  • Other: Must be comfortable working with juvenile populations and floating between sites
