Full Time - Dialysis Nurse Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Manager to provide and oversee acute dialysis care across multiple hospital settings. This role requires a strong clinical background, independence, and the ability to coordinate effectively with physicians and facility staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer acute hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments in hospital settings
- Communicate with nephrologists before and after each treatment
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols
- Manage dialysis equipment setup, usage, and safety procedures
- Respond to on-call assignments and emergency dialysis cases within required timeframes
- Coordinate scheduling and support staff as needed
- Participate in training, quality initiatives, and department meetings
Requirements:
- Active RN license in California
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 3 months dialysis experience (acute/critical care preferred)
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours, including on-call shifts
