Job Title: MRI Technologist Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team in Charleston, SC. The MRI Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI equipment, ensuring high-quality scans and patient care.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform MRI scans as directed by the physician or radiologist.
- Operate MRI equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Monitor patient condition during scans and respond to any emergencies.
- Process and review images for diagnostic quality.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
- Stay updated with advancements in MRI technology and practices.
Qualifications: - Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiologic imaging.
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and related software.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
