Our client is looking to hire a Mammography Tech to join their team at a medical center in New York. This is a temp-to-perm role, and they are open to new grads.
Job Function:
Operate mammographic equipment and other devices, adhering to company policies and protocols.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care.
Use equipment adjustments (compression, exposure modes, filters, etc.) to produce optimal images.
Monitor patient well-being during exams, addressing discomfort or medical concerns as needed.
Guide patients through the process, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Job Requirements:
- 1 of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
ARRT(R)(M) certification.
State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
BLS certification required.
Active DOH NY license.
