WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an LPN for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Penn Yan, NY.
Job Function:
- Nights and every weekend (5x8s, 11:00p-7:30a)
- Plans and manages patient care according to each patient's needs.
- Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
- Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Provides routine care for patients; Observes patients' health; Assists with patient comfort.
- Assists physicians and registered nurses; Prepares specimens for lab courier.
- Provides wound care; Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas; Monitors catheters.
Job Requirements:
- NY LPN Licensure
- BLS (AHA or RQI specifically)
- 1 year experience serving in an LPN capacity at LTC Facility
