Full Time X-Ray Technologist
Job Summary
The X-Ray Technologist (Tech) performs radiographic procedures to aid in diagnosing diseases and injuries. This role requires effective collaboration with patients, families, and clinical personnel while ensuring high standards of radiologic care and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and instruments as needed.
- Verify patient identity, confirm orders, and explain procedures.
- Position patients correctly for radiological imaging.
- Operate X-ray, fluoro, and C-arm machines in line with established protocols.
- Ensure radiation safety and shield patients accordingly.
- Answer patient questions related to procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care records.
- Review exams for technical accuracy before submission.
- Manage inventory, cleanliness, and equipment sanitation.
Qualifications - Current ARRT certification (Required).
- Associate's degree (Preferred).
- Experience with X-ray and C-arm technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
