Job Overview We're seeking a skilled
CT Technologist for a 13-week local contract in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you'll operate advanced CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists. Ideal candidates will be able to function independently, maintain a patient-centered approach, and ensure strict adherence to imaging protocols.
Responsibilities - Perform CT scans according to physician orders, ensuring diagnostic quality images.
- Greet patients and verify identification and birthdate.
- Collect pertinent medical history and allergy information.
- Clearly explain procedures and answer patient questions.
- Position patients accurately and operate scanner per established protocols.
- Administer contrast media and document accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians and assist during invasive procedures.
- Monitor and ensure patient safety, using radiation protection and fall prevention measures.
- Maintain professional communication with coworkers, patients, and physicians.
- Document and manage imaging records using EPIC and PACS systems.
- Assist in other modalities and support cross-functional tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Experience - ARRT (CT) certified.
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience.
- Proficient in venipuncture and contrast administration.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile technique.
- Experience with patient positioning and scanner operation.
Preferred Experience - Experience with:
- Philips CT equipment
- Bracco injectors
- EPIC, PACS/McKesson systems
- Outpatient, Inpatient, and Emergency procedures
- Cardiac, TAVR, CTA, Code Stroke, HD, CAP, Spine imaging
