CT Technologist - Local Contract (13 Weeks)
Cincinnati, OH
Shift: 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM or 2:30PM - 1:00AM Every 4th Weekend Required

Job Overview We're seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week local contract in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you'll operate advanced CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists. Ideal candidates will be able to function independently, maintain a patient-centered approach, and ensure strict adherence to imaging protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans according to physician orders, ensuring diagnostic quality images.
  • Greet patients and verify identification and birthdate.
  • Collect pertinent medical history and allergy information.
  • Clearly explain procedures and answer patient questions.
  • Position patients accurately and operate scanner per established protocols.
  • Administer contrast media and document accordingly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and assist during invasive procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure patient safety, using radiation protection and fall prevention measures.
  • Maintain professional communication with coworkers, patients, and physicians.
  • Document and manage imaging records using EPIC and PACS systems.
  • Assist in other modalities and support cross-functional tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
  • ARRT (CT) certified.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience.
  • Proficient in venipuncture and contrast administration.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile technique.
  • Experience with patient positioning and scanner operation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with:
    • Philips CT equipment
    • Bracco injectors
    • EPIC, PACS/McKesson systems
    • Outpatient, Inpatient, and Emergency procedures
      • Cardiac, TAVR, CTA, Code Stroke, HD, CAP, Spine imaging
