Position Highlights:- Pay: $23 per hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Equipment:
- F-550 straight truck with flatbed or pickup truck with gooseneck trailer
- Freight: Waterworks supply (palletized freight)
Key Responsibilities:- Freight Handling: Load palletized freight onto trucks (driver loads, but does not unload, except for residential deliveries)
- Vehicle Operation:
- Drive an F-550 straight truck with flatbed or pickup truck with gooseneck trailer
- Strap and secure loads properly for safe transport
- Warehouse Support: Pull orders from the warehouse or pipe yard when not driving
- Customer Service: Occasional deliveries to residential customers (unloading required)
- Technology Use: Operate tablets, cargo logs, and other digital tools for tracking and delivery management
Requirements:- CDL License: Valid Class B CDL
- Experience: Familiarity with DOT regulations and experience with flatbed operations (strapping required)
- Technology Skills: Ability to use cargo logs, tablets, and mobile devices for tracking and reporting
- Physical Requirements: Ability to load and secure freight using strapping methods
