Position Overview

As a Local Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and growing a local book of business through face-to-face sales efforts, daily prospecting, and client relationship management. You'll work closely with operations to ensure service delivery excellence and play a key role in revenue growth and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new LTL business within your assigned territory.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts through service-focused relationship management.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Negotiate rates and solutions that deliver value to both the customer and Go2.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time pickups, deliveries, and service quality.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for local clients, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  • Track sales activity and customer interactions in CRM tools.
  • Stay current with market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience in freight, logistics, or transportation (LTL experience strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of local/regional carrier networks and pricing models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage a territory independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required with relevant experience.
