Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their LoanIQ Engineer position. This is a 12+ month contract and will be hybrid in Wilmington, DE. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced LoanIQ Engineer to take ownership of the technical aspects of Finastra's Loan IQ solution. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the software, SDK development, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintaining seamless communication with Finastra's technical support.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Own the LoanIQ technical solution, including installation, configuration, SDK development, license management, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with Finastra's technical support for resolving complex issues.
  • Maintain software packaging tools (NuGet and NPM) and source code management tools (GitLab).
  • Support log management platforms (ELK) and SIEM tools (Splunk).
  • Develop and maintain scripts using YAML, PowerShell, Linux/Bash, or Perl to automate processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including Technology management, customers, and support teams, to design, develop, and execute technical solutions.
  • Lead infrastructure architecture, design, research, and development of new or expanded systems.
  • Create technology standards, policies, and conducting thorough analysis of user requirements and operational constraints.
  • Perform unit testing, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Regularly interact with business partners to clarify problems, gather requirements, and estimate project efforts.
  • Coordinate vendor interactions, managing vendor resources, and ensuring clarity of contracts.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers and review their work as needed.
  • Follow and promote industry best practices, standards, and procedures.
What You'll Need to Have:
  • Strong knowledge of Finastra's Loan IQ solution, including modules, SDK, and APIs.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database engineering (Oracle preferred).
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (preferably C in .NET).
  • Familiarity with software packaging tools (preferably NuGet and NPM).
  • Experience with source code management tools (preferably GitLab).
  • Exposure to SIEM tools (preferably Splunk) and log management platforms (preferably ELK).
  • Scripting experience (YAML, PowerShell, Linux/Bash, or Perl).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid setup, with preference for local candidates near Wilmington, DE.
  • Minimum of 12 years of combined higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.
  • Thorough understanding of the system development and infrastructure lifecycle, vendor best practices, IT Service Management, and systems design.
  • Experience with Loan Agency business functions.

Pay Range: $100-$120/hr +
