Position Overview
The Loan Closer will support the daily loan settlement operations, coordinating trade documentation, communicating with clients, and ensuring accurate, timely settlements. Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret trade documentation (LSTA/LMA settlement documents, agent bank notices, credit agreements).
- Coordinate with counterparties and internal teams to execute timely trade settlements.
- Communicate status updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure service delivery meets or exceeds established SLA requirements.
- Identify process improvements and assist with documentation of workflows.
- Adhere to compliance, quality control, and policy standards.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in loan closing or financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Strong knowledge of loan settlement processes and LSTA/LMA guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
