Required:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan servicing, grant administration, or program coordination, or similar
Strong organizational and communication skills
Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Preferred:
Familiarity with federal and state economic development programs
Experience working with rural communities or economic development districts
Knowledge of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) or revolving loan funds
Grant writing and reporting experience for government or foundation funding sources
Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Loan and Grant Coordinator to manage the administration of small business loans and economic development grant programs. This part-time position plays a critical role in supporting local economic growth by guiding applicants through funding processes and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Duties Include:
Loan Coordination-
Administer and manage the small business loan portfolio
Assist applicants with loan application preparation and submission
Conduct preliminary financial assessments and coordinate underwriting processes
Maintain loan documentation, track payments, and manage reporting requirements
Support loan committee activities, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and meeting follow-up
Grant Coordination-
Assist in the development and submission of grant proposals in collaboration with community partners and board
Track and report on active grant performance, including compliance with deliverables and deadlines
Prepare budget reports, reimbursement requests, and funder communications
Maintain organized grant records and audit-ready documentation
Hours & Pay:
Part-time (20-25 hours/week)
Flexible work schedule
$38-$44 per hour, DOE
