LAI LIVE, a leader in live event production for corporate, association, and non-profit clients, is looking for a talented, creative, experienced sales professional and business development guru with a solid history of building client portfolios within the events industry.
This is a DC-based, in-office position and only candidates with proven results in lead generation, portfolio growth, and over $1,000,000.00+ sales per year will be considered.
Candidates should include a cover letter showcasing experience in:
- Entrepreneurial approaches to business
- Researching & assessing growth potential for clients for the live production business
- Building relationships & trust with potential clients
- Building a sales portfolio through individual outreach, networking, cold calls, and marketing leads
- Achieving sales goals that increase revenue year-on-year
- Leading proposal process and negotiations with clients
- Using creativity and thought leadership to engage with clients
Only candidates with the following qualifications should apply:
- At least three (3) years sales work experience growing a portfolio of business year-on-year
- Successful history with outside sales resulting in $500K+ per year
- Experience working in the live events industry
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
LAI's compensation includes a base salary plus commission, incentive compensation, 401(K) plan, paid vacation and holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, and commuter benefits.
