A respected and established non-profit organization is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Litigation Support Secretary to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with 1-5+ years of experience who are passionate about making a difference for underserved communities. If you are detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a firm grasp of litigation processes, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with communication and correspondence with clients.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.
  • Prepare, proofread, and e-file basic court documents and forms.
  • Manage court filing systems and calendar important deadlines.
  • Coordinate depositions, including scheduling court reporters and preparing resources.
  • Support intake processes as necessary.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as mail processing, document management, and filing.
Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Los Angeles Superior Court procedures, especially in Family Law and Civil matters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Additional Information:
  • This is a temporary position expected to last 6 - 8 months, with the potential for permanent placement.
  • Work hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.
  • Parking expenses will be covered by the firm.
  • Compensation: $24 - $28/hour, dependent on experience.
