We are working with a prominent, nationwide law firm that is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their General Litigation division in Columbus, OH.

Salary range will be negotiable based on years of experience

Job Details

We are seeking a Staff Attorney with 3+ years of general litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in product liability and/or toxic tort litigation. The attorney will be responsible for drafting and responding to nationwide discovery-related documents, including written discovery and motions, as well as coordinating novel discovery issues with other counsel. The position also involves preparing document productions, assisting in deposition preparation, and working closely with clients and expert witnesses.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Valid Ohio bar license
• Minimum 3+ years of general litigation experience
• Strong technological skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and practice management systems, portals and technologies
• Superior research skills, including the use of online services, databases and the Internet
• Project management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
