A law firm based in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a skilled Litigation Securities Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in securities litigation, with a strong grasp of financial markets and regulatory compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery materials related to securities litigation cases.
  2. Analyze complex financial documents, including SEC filings, financial statements, and trading records.
  3. Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials, including witness preparation and examination.
  4. Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
  5. Manage document review and electronic discovery processes effectively and efficiently.
  6. Stay abreast of developments in securities laws, regulations, and judicial decisions impacting client matters.

Requirements:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Bar admission in California.
  3. 2+ years of experience practicing securities litigation at a reputable law firm.
  4. Strong understanding of federal and state securities laws, regulations, and procedures.
  5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and legal documents.
  6. Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
  7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with arbitration and mediation related to securities disputes.
  2. Familiarity with financial markets, investment products, and corporate governance.
  3. Previous experience managing junior associates or paralegals.
