Reputable mid-size law firm seeking a skilled Litigation Secretary to join their growing team in Downtown Los Angeles. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to 4 attorneys and is well-versed in managing cases from start to conclusion.


Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to 4 Labor & Employment Defense attorneys
  • Experience managing cases from start to conclusion.
  • E-filing with state and federal courts
  • Preparing TOC's/TOA's and discovery shells
  • Trial preparation
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reports, enter attorney's timesheets, and perform other administrative and executive assistant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5+ years of civil litigation defense experience; Labor & Employment Defense is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrate stability and reliability in previous roles.
  • Exhibit a flexible attitude, suitable for a smaller office environment, even within a large firm.

Additional Details

  • Option to work remotely after the initial training period (30 - 60 days). Will be required to go into the office one day a month for staff meetings.
  • Must live locally to the LA area to accommodate potential in-office requirements for trials or significant events.

Compensation: Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $91,000.
