Adams & Martin Group is collaborating with a prestigious law firm to find a meticulous Litigation Secretary to enhance their team. This role is essential in providing vital support to attorneys and ensuring efficient legal operations.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence with precision.
- File and organize legal documents in both physical and electronic formats.
- Coordinate the preparation and filing of court documents while ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Manage communications with clients, court officials, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
- Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
- Assist with trial preparation, including the organization of exhibits and trial binders.
Qualifications: - Demonstrated strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience as a litigation secretary or in a similar legal support role is preferred.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, first shift.
